Happy birthday yesterday to Granny! To celebrate, the McKenzie girls had lunch at Blake's Restaurant in Candor. (This was the 10th and final new local restaurant I needed to try for my list!)
Granny's birthday inspired me to finally start catching up on another list item -- sending birthday cards to "everyone I love" in 2008. I started out strong on this resolution but sometime around April started struggling (SO MANY people I love were born in April and May!). I'm quite far behind now, but I bought a bunch of $1 cards at Trader Joe's last night so if your birthday's already passed and you were feeling neglected ... start watching your mailbox.
