Our house smells like eggs (three dozen of them), but that is far outweighed by the fact that I'm sitting on the couch beside my favorite person within reach of a plate of warm cookies, a cup of coffee and a glass of Chardonnay. My second-favorite person has been sound asleep for three hours two rooms away, college basketball is on TV and we have a fresh round of library books.
