Just a quickie

This weekend came and went in a flash! Matt got home from Tennessee in time for a late dinner together Friday night. Saturday we slept in, went grocery shopping and then went to Raleigh to hang out with Maegan, Lee and Emma. Today after church and football we went over to Melissa and Thomas' new house for a couple of hours. And just like that, it's back to work tomorrow.

Riley pictures of the day

These are from last week but I forgot to post them earlier. Once things had calmed down a little in the Riley Kirby household, we went over for the guys to have a celebratory drink and smoke a cigar. When Stephen was in the Caribbean last month Matt had arranged for him to buy a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label for this occasion (duty-free). Everyone was excited to try it but said it tastes like any other whiskey. (The packaging was fancy, though -- silk-lined -- it looked like a casket.)
