I can't believe I'm actually sitting here with time for guilt-free blogging! I'm all caught up on editing, I finally turned in the story that was hanging over my head for weeks, and the house is as close to spotless as it ever gets thanks to a showing yesterday afternoon. Claire's asleep, my coupons are organized, I've studied the grocery circulars and even the laundry is folded.
Unbelievable! Claire is babbling. I'll be back during her afternoon nap.

Isn't that just a terrible feeling to have something hanging over your head? And isn't it absolutely GREAT to get that thing done?! :) Glad you're feeling so caught up!
No, Rachel. Jennifer LOVES to have things hanging over her head. She loves deadlines and pressure. She didn't get it from me! : )
Just to clarify, I do not love having things hanging over my head, but I do love brewing a pot of coffee at 11 p.m. so I can stay awake and finish things that are hanging over my head and can't be postponed any longer. And I love that Matt will stay up with me (although he won't drink the coffee).
