Today's flashback photo: Fall 2001. We didn't have formal engagement portraits taken, and this is the picture we used instead for the local newspaper's engagement announcement. However, it was supposed to be cropped just below our faces so as to eliminate the drinks we were holding. When submitting it to the paper I included explicit written instructions and marked the picture where I wanted it cropped. The result? It ran full size, exactly as you see it below. Stay classy, San Diego.
