Too much green grass

This will be short and sweet. I spent today showing houses and just woke up from a much-needed nap. My head's still foggy.

Our grass is so healthy, thick and fast-growing that I must concede it's time to buy a "real" lawnmower. We'd have to mow every other day for our free, environmentally conscious manual mower to keep up.

Matt has borrowed Jacob's gas mower for the past two weekends and that can't go on forever. We thought about paying the teenager next door but that feels like a waste if we're going to bite the bullet eventually (and we will -- this is probably the least grass we'll ever have). Anyone have a Lowe's coupon you don't plan to use?

I got angry when I was mowing my grass last evening with my reel mower, and the thoughts in my head were VERY similar to the ones in the post you linked to! I'm still trying to decide whether my neighbors admire me, pity me, or mock me...
