Quickie

I wanted to get in a good post before leaving town, but I don't think that's going to happen! Every day this week it's been one thing right after another at work, and today is no exception.

Matt and I are planning to go to Washington, D.C., tomorrow right after lunch for a long weekend with Todd et al. Todd's a mechanical engineer by day/rock star by night and his band, The Walkaways, is having its CD release party on Friday, which is why we picked this weekend for a visit. (When you check out The Walkaways' website be sure to turn on your speakers on -- their music is really catchy.)

So, this is an even worse excuse for a post than I thought, but I'm out of time ...
