Reading this made me remember I've loaned out (and possibly lost) my copies of "Roaring Lambs" and "The Final Roar." I do have my copy of his "Squeeze Play" - have you read it?

So many great books! I haven't read either Anna Quindlen - is she who you were reading at the beach last summer? I also haven't read "Messy Spirituality" or "Confederates in the Attic."

I have not read "Squeeze Play" -- never even heard of it. Can I borrow?

You would really like Anna Quindlen. She was a columnist for The New York Times and then Newsweek and both of these books are compilations of some of those columns. She's a little liberal for me, but I love her. Now she's started writing fiction, though, and I don't like it at all.

I think Anne Lamott is who you're thinking of me reading at the beach last summer.

You would really like both "Messy Spirituality" (which I have) and "Confederates in the Attic" (which I don't).
