I'm amazed at the incredible strides she's made just in the past two weeks. The day before we left for the beach I drove her to get her hair cut, which at the time was a monumental achievement. In contrast, yesterday when I showed up at her house I found her with a mop in her hand and a bag of cherries for me -- sure signs of Back to Normal Mom -- and insisted on driving. She's like a teenager behind the wheel.
This morning I hadn't been in the office for 15 minutes when she called to say she was at the farmer's market and did I want some strawberries? Well, yeah! She just dropped them off. Thanks, Mom! I love you!
